Temperance petition, 1833.

Calvin Fletcher (1897-1866) was a state senator, lawyer, businessman, and farmer. He was elected prosecuting attorney for the Marion County Circuit Court in 1821, and served as state senator from 1825-1833. Fletcher was appointed director of the State Bank in 1834 and later organized the Indianapolis Branch Banking Co., also known as the Fletcher and Sharpe Bank. Noble, Noah, 1794-1844

Noah Noble served in many official positions throughout Indiana. He was sheriff and a member of the State Legislature for Franklin County, Indiana. He was also Receiver of public monies for Indianapolis Land District. In 1831, he was elected Governor of the State of Indiana and was re-elected for a second term.
